Chiclet back after "off day"

I don't know what happened the last day. We got her home and checked out and couldn't find anything wrong,. She was healthy and well so we sent her back up again. She has so much pace and we used it today. Horses are the same as humans and can have an off day. I'm very happy to have her back. She loves it up here and I'll have to have a look through the program now.

That's my first Flat winner. She ran a cracker here the last night and just had a bit of natural improvement. That's a nice pot to win,. For a three-year-old filly she's tough and hardy to get a mile-and-a-half. We were lucky that Wayne was available and he gave her a great ride. Thankfully we had him in our corner as he's a great asset. She has a nice pedigree and I'd say we'll stick to the Flat with her.

Mannion and Levins back at number one

Ronan (Whelan) gave him a peach of a ride last time and he needed it to get back in the swing of things. It did his confidence the world of good,. Donagh was very clever on him and he travelled everywhere. It's good to get him back. I'm delighted for Seamus and he deserves it. He's a big supporter of the yard and obviously we are indebted to him.

Rannagh lands gamble but only just

We think he's a reasonably good horse. He's a big horse and will take time. He'll make a good three-year-old. Hopefully he can get black-type next year. He's a good staying horse. He was very unlucky here last time.

Lyons filly gains deserved win

She deserved that. Her form was good up to her last couple of runs and the blinkers did the trick,. She has plenty of speed so the six furlongs was ideal. She'll have a rest now. It was important for her breeding to get the brackets and we'll see what the owners want to do now.

Lordan's the man at Dundalk

I enjoyed that. It was lovely to watch,. After the last day Wayne said he could come back to seven no problem. He has loads of confidence in him. Getting the splits late encourages him and the easier surface also helps. It suits most horses better now bar maybe ones that want it really fast.
