Magic lunges late to pip stable-mate
She's a lovely filly and just wasn't ready until now,. She a big filly and I thought she was a three-year-old when she arrived in the yard. I trained her dam but she never had any luck. She was a nice mare and I think this is her first foal. I'm a bit upset for the other one. She's unlucky and has been second three times now.
Gorey times it well on Dancer
He's been plagued by problems. He got cast and has also had allergies,. He's a grand little horse and tries his heart out. Hopefully we've solved his problems. He ran at Wolverhampton last season and will probably head back over there. I have another little filly to go over as well. I've only four or five in training and everything had been placed this year except him.
Party beats off Velocity challenge
We've hit the crossbar a few times in the last few weeks so it's nice to get one over the line,. He's a nice horse. We've always thought a good bit of him and he held a stakes entry earlier in the season. On his first run he was third to a horse that finished second in the Dewhurst and then he got stuck in the mud at Navan. With the gallops being flooded he came here with no work last time and blew up. The filly is as tough as old boots and deserves to get her maiden. We've just run out of season and that's why we had to run the two together.
Hearts back to winning ways
It's great he went out on a winning note. He deserved to win again and he's a great little bit of stuff,. He ran once here last year and ran terrible. He didn't go at all and hated it. We put the blinkers on him since and maybe the kick back doesn't effect him as much and he is racing a lot keener. We might look at Lingfield or somewhere with him if they have a suitable race. He's so game and consistent.
Dock strikes again
He's good around here. Things went right for him and he got the split at the right time,. A few of my horses were very flat during the summer and he just wasn't firing. But he loves it around here. Ben is great value for his 5lb and rides him with confidence which is what you have to do with him. He's earned his break now.
Martin saddles another one-two
I'm delighted for John Breslin but they are two great owners and a dead-heat would have suited better!. He was unlucky last Wednesday night and because it was the last night we had no choice but to run them all. There is no racing here till February which is a pity.

It would be good if they ran a few extra meetings here,. He has promised to win a lot of times and has been disappointing. Maybe running him back quick suits him as he was third here last night. Ben gave him a great ride tonight. He's a very sound horse and we'll tip away with him and go over to Wolverhampton. He's had a good break during the summer and is in good spirits with himself at the moment.
