He improved from his last few runs and he did that well. I'm not sure where he will go now but he will make a nice horse in time.
Benefficient bounces back to his best
He goes really well for Bryan, he suits the horse so well and you could see half way down the back straight that he was going well. It was a great performance and he jumped absolutely super. I should never have run him at Wetherby, it was a cock-up on my behalf. He worked twelve days before that at Tipperary with Flemenstar, he did far too much there and left his race behind him. He is a much better horse going left-handed. The Topham was in my mind beforehand but he will probably be too high in the handicap now, and we will have to think about the likes of the Ryanair or maybe even the Queen Mother if the ground was soft.
Double for Elliott as Rocky comes from last
Robbie gave him a great ride. He is a bit of a monkey but he has plenty of ability.
Mullins family success in feature
He was lucky to get into the race as I had to upset another one of my owners (wife Jackie) by taking out Popcorn! That's my first Paddy Power and it's great to get that one as a lot of things have not gone well this week. It was a fair performance from a horse with very little experience to do that. Also it's not often that Ruby gets down to 10st3lb, and that was a tip in itself.
Another treble for Elliott as Heroes impresses
He is a big three mile chaser down the road. He may go for a winners bumper, but really we will have to try and mind him.
