Mont Blanc gets through it best
She was a reluctant leader at Sligo on Tuesday and she raced very green there. I was apprehensive about running her again so soon. She was more cooperative when she got to the front today and we will try here in a fillies handicap next.
Lebron toughs it out at Wexford
He was very green the last day [second at Leopardstown on August 9], but he learned a good bit from it. He'll come on for this win. I haven't been at this track for around 20 years. It is in some order.
Shanahan the King at Wexford
He is a grand genuine horse. He was fourth in two Leopardstown maidens. I wasn't sure the handicapper was right giving him a mark of 74 but he was proved right. He is in the sales at Newmarket but I hope he won't be sold. He will make a nice jumping horse and he loves a cut in the ground. I will run him again before the sales and try and get another bracket for him.
Sheilas Wish comes true
I'm delighted with that, especially for her owner Peter Commane. He puts his heart and soul into it and does all the race planning for her. She won well and deserved it. She's very well bred. Her dam (Danse Royale) is half sister to Marju and Salsabil. Her dam herself won a Group 3. Obviously she doesn't mind the ground and hopefully she'll pick up another one. She will probably stay in training as a five-year-old.
Hartside lands major plunge
He'll make a nice jumps horse. He jumps nicely and I know he schooled before his last win and that probably sweetened him up,. jockey Ben Curtis
Aughnacurraveel fends them all off
He is a decent horse and he beat Back In Focus fair and square in Tipperary.
