Swampfire burns bright at Kilbeggan
He took a while to do that. He was a very good horse on the flat and he's got his jumping together. He's starting to enjoy it now. It wasn't the strongest of races and we've no real plan, but he might be sold.
Bunnenaugh lands his own treble
I thought the trip might be too short for him. When I saw he was getting in I made sure I got Ben Dalton as he's very good. He gave him a lovely ride. He has won two point-to-points [on his last two outings] and he'll probably go chasing.
Neighbourly causes shock at Kilbeggan
I was very confident. She was fit and well and if she didn't win today she would never win. Our horses have been out of sorts and we've had very few runners. She'll run again in Downpatrick on Monday.
Katys Girl another winner for Brady
every time we thought she was right, we met with a setback. However she is an out-and-out stayer and now that she's improving there could be more to come from her . she finished second to Zaidpour once!
Geraghty on the mark at Kilbeggan
I was worried he wouldn't handle the ground and is much better on better ground. He'll go for a handicap next and we'll play it by ear from there.
Broad smiles as Prince Of Leisure wins
He was a 120 horse in his day but he has been plagued with injuries. Fair play to the owners (Home & Dry Syndicate) for sticking with him. They're the first owners I had. They also own Prince Of Pleasure who won 10 races. Hopefully this will pay for another horse! They stuck with me through thick and thin.
Moorhill Lad keeps improving
I bought the horse last August in Tattersalls for 2,000 euro. The vets knocked him on his wind, but we took a chance. We didn't operate on it. I was talking to John before racing and he said if he won today he'd get a break and might go hurdling.
