The Stewards requested a report from Patrick J.Flynn, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Little Sweetheart, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on her last start on heavy ground at Gowran but appreciated the better ground today. He added that his stable is now in better form after a slow start to the season. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
