Donnacha O'Brien quickly off the mark in the training ranks
It's nice to get it out of the way (first winner). She did it well,. She was entitled to probably win off her mark but I didn't think she'd win that well. It's nice to get it. She gets the mile well and I think she'll probably stay a mile-and-a-quarter as well. She had plenty of experience and was very fit. I have a few nice horses and it's nice to get the first one out of the way. I've 35 in at the moment. We have a few nice well-bred two-year-olds, the likes of Fancy Blue and a few three-year-olds that haven't run. Hopefully there are a few decent horses there.
Lightly-raced Bucky Larson shows his talent again
No worries this time as Kokura passes the post in front
He was always going to do that after the last day,. He's still learning and Ben said when he went to the front he pricked his ears, he's not quite sure what to do, but he has a bit of an engine I'd say. He's coming along, it took him a while for the penny to drop but he's starting to kick into gear now. We'll see what happens over the next couple of weeks. I don't know whether we'll come back here or wait for the grass. He'd be fit if we go back on the grass. He thought he was going to win well but when he let him go he said he pricked his ears again and maybe after the last day he's remembering it. He's a slow learner but he's coming along all the time and hopefully he can improve on that.

Nicole Smyth rides her first winner
There are plenty of horses there and hopefully in the summer time there will be loads of opportunities. I basically didn’t want to go to school anymore. I always did show-jumping so I went to RACE and absolutely loved it. I just fell in love with the game. He's a horse that we bought cheap out of Ascot sales and we always thought there would be a day in him. He was away down in the weights, we claimed 10lb off him today and Nicole gave him a perfect ride. She was good on him. We told her there was no pressure as she was riding for friends. She rides him at home, she rides him on the beach, and she loves the horse. She rides out for me three mornings a week.
