She's a hardy bit of stuff and galloped away to the line,. She had plenty of work done and will probably be sold now. She's a nice bit of a filly but I didn't think she'd do it that well . it's a bit of a surprise. She had been working well.

She did it very well and I'm very pleased with that. She wasn't right in Galway but is back right again now and I thought that was one of her best runs.

She's unbelievably genuine and the 10lb is obviously a big help. Conor gave her a lovely ride. She'll come back here for the Listed Cooley Stakes. She's Listed placed already. She loves it around here and has had a wonderful week. I'm delighted for Conor. She is a lovely ride. She settles and does everything right and gives the young lads a chance to concentrate on what they should be doing. I'm delighted for Carol Roper. When I suggest a rider for her it's never a problem and it's great to have a filly like her to get the lads going.

Solar springs a surprise for Madden

It was a good performance. It was only her second run on the Flat for me. We ran her over hurdles but she didn't seem to take to it . hopefully she'll go back to that though. We decided to go this road before giving her a break. She might run at Galway over hurdles, we'll see what the syndicate (West To East Syndicate) say. That was the proper way to ride her. Wayne held on to her as she was very keen last time. She ran around a bit in the straight but it is very windy.

I'm delighted he's broken his maiden. He's a fun horse for the syndicate (Newlands Racing Club) which my father runs. It was a decent performance and he'll come back here. He might go jumping as well.
