Synergy comes good on 2nd start for Meade
I told him (owner Munnelly Support Services Ltd) last week I was putting him in the sales (Goffs UK Spring HIT entry) and now I have to tell him he won!. He had a wind-op and when we ran him in Navan he ran very bad. Maybe the heavy ground was just catching him out. He was much better today. Sean said he didn't make any noise, travelled well and jumped reasonably good. He stays really well and is a lovely big horse so I'm sure he'll make a nice chaser. I suppose I'll have to see if I can get him to keep him now!
Nessun Dorma on song at Kilbeggan
Mr Picotee fresh and up for the win
We were a little worried about the ground but Andrew (Lynch) kept him well wide,.

Lady 'a right one' for young Connell
She picked up nicely and she's done it great,. She had a couple of good runs around Leopardstown so she's probably entitled to come here and do that. You can never be sure and there was a lot of talking horses in the race so we're very happy. She's Barry's son Rory's first winner as an owner and I think he's going to have lots of fun with her during the summer. She's a right one for him. I'm not sure where she'll go yet, we'll see how she is and what happens.
