We reverted back to this distance, he has a good cruising speed and Philip gave him a great ride. He was near enough at the last (when Icare Desbois exited) and got there so that's the main thing. He's a horse with such an engine, if you can get into his head, you've a chance. Down the hill the last time I got him rolling and I was actually sitting sweet on him then going to two out. He's always been tricky at the start and refused one day here before. I always go down to the start with him, if I wasn't there he wouldn't go at all. It initially started as a joke but this horse gets his name from the 'King of the Private Rental Sector'. He's a lovely horse. We got him off Sean O'Keeffe's Dad and we were thrilled when we got him. We like him a lot and we would have been disappointed if he wasn't knocking on the door today.
