Rocksette (GB) wore ear plugs which were removed at the start.
Iballisticvin (GB), trained by Gary Moore was late in the Parade Ring, due to having two horses to saddle and one of the jockeys being in the previous race which was late off.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Sari Mareis (GB) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 2 furlongs when Red Archangel (IRE), placed third, ridden by Kieran Shoemark, interfered with SOLVEIG’S SONG, placed seventh, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Shoemark was cautioned for careless riding as Shoemark maneuvered right when not sufficiently clear carrying Marquand slightly off his intended line.
Approaching 2 furlongs out, the winner, Whimsical Dream (GB), shifted marginally right carrying Iballisticvin (GB), placed fourth, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
