Her mother (Collou) won a bumper in Mallow and this is great. She was a very hard mare to keep right but we eventually got her right and I knew there was a race in her. I'm only a small-time trainer, I only have about three in training and we'll probably look for a handicap next. Darragh (Allen) is my neighbour, is a good friend and his brother Sean helps me out every day - it's great.

Mr M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Citizen's Army trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount became unbalanced on the downhill run on the first circuit and later in the race while crossing the top of the track, made a respiratory noise
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Eternal Gale trained by Andrew Slattery was noted to have blood at both nostrils post race
The Stewards enquired into an incident on the downhill run on the first circuit involving Lady Rocco, ridden by J.S. McGarvey, placed sixth, Loughaneala Og, ridden by P.T. Enright, fell at this point, Moonlight Symphony, ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed fourth and Barto, ridden by C.J. Orr, unseated at this point, where it appeared that Loughaneala Og was tight for room when racing close to the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by J.S. McGarvey riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.S. McGarvey for 7 racedays
