An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong when Danielsflyer (IRE), placed second, ridden by Andrew Mullen interfered with Above The Rest (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Robbie Downey.
Mullen was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left without sufficient correction causing Downey to take back off heels.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when the winner, Admirality (GB), ridden by Ben Curtis interfered with Lake Volta (IRE), placed third, ridden by Joe Fanning.
Curtis was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left onto the rail when insufficiently clear.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Above The Rest (IRE), unplaced, had lost its right fore shoe.
