Permission was given for Oz Legend (IRE) to wear a hood in the preliminaries which was removed at the start.
Approaching the final two furlongs, Greystoke (GB), unplaced, shifted right-handed onto the winner, Bay Bridge (GB), which in turn bumped Dejame Paso (IRE), placed sixth.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Roger Varian reported that Dubawi Sands (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the Good to Soft, Soft in places going and would prefer a quicker surface.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Oz Legend (IRE), placed fourth, had lost its right-fore shoe.
John Gosden reported that Highland Rocker (FR), unplaced, was unsuited by the Good to Soft, Soft in places going and would prefer a quicker surface; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the colt failed to reveal any abnormalities.
