Lordan, placed fifth, where it appeared that Getawiggleon ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. C. Colgan stated that there was a small bump but he kept his racing line. G. M. Ryan stated that he ran short of room and had to check. W. M. Lordan stated that he was aware of the riders on his inner but felt he had sufficient room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards gave W. M. Lordan the benefit of the doubt, in that there was sufficient room when he went for the gap initially, and they took no further action. Furthermore, the Stewards reminded G. M. Ryan of his responsibility to attend at the first instance, when he required at an enquiry.
