The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Seaboard, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have bilateral nasal discharge and to be stiff behind post race
Samples were taken for analysis
P.T. Enright, rider of Wildewood trained by Patrick Breen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly
The Stewards requested a report from S.W. Flanagan, rider of Lopito (GB) who fell on the flat rounding the bend into the home straight. The rider reported that his mount appeared to stumble and fall independently for no apparent reason. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the report, the Stewards took no further action.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-95
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight is 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
