Permission was given for Oasis Song (GB) to go early to post.
Handful Of Gold (IRE), trained by Kevin Bishop, failed to enter the Parade Ring due to a late jockey change.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after entering the back straight involving Stormy Bay (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Morris, Mercurist (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Kieran O’Neill and Itoldyoutobackit (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Sullivan.
The interference was found to be accidental due to a free running Stormy Bay (GB) being taken off the heels of Where Next Jo (GB) and in doing so hung sharply left carrying Mercurist (GB) onto Itoldyoutobackit (IRE) which was tightened for room against the rail.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner Watheer (GB), ridden by Ben Curtis interfered with Where Next Jo (GB), placed third, ridden by Gina Mangan who in turn interfered with JEN’S LAD (IRE), placed second, ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen.
Being a 7 lb claimer Mangan was offered to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Curtis was cautioned for careless riding as he was slow to correct his mount drifting right-handed resulting in Where Next Jo (GB) being carried off its intended line which in turn resulted in JEN’S LAD (IRE) being also taken marginally off its intended line.
