< Runfordave justified odds of 2-9 with ease in the opening Munster Hurdle at Clonmel for Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy.
The favourite had run well in graded company at Punchestown previously and made no mistake here, forging clear before the last to see off Ben Dundee by 11 lengths having raced up with the pace throughout. The winner has options at next month's Cheltenham Festival and looks a decent prospect.
Elliott completed a double when Gigginstown second string Monkshood (9-4) landed the concluding Powerstown Flat Race by 12 lengths.
An exciting finish to the Demesne Mares Maiden Hurdle saw Kate Appleby Shoes off the mark at the third attempt over timber.
The 9-10f favourite looked cooked when Awayinthewest loomed up on the outside to take it up coming to the final flight but she battled back under Ruby Walsh to get up by a head. Willie Mullins' mare had finished placed on her two previous outings so wasn't winning out of turn.
In the following Clonmel Maiden Hurdle Chambord Du Lys obliged at prohibitive odds of 1-4 to complete a double for the Mullins-Walsh axis.
The winner travelled comfortably on the inner and only had to be nudged out to beat Monbeg Chit Chat by six-and-a-half lengths. She looks capable of going on to better things.< Goulane Davina (9-2) edged out Logical Song by half a length in an exciting finish to the Kilsheelan Beginners Chase.
The winner appeared to be coming off second best when Logical Song loomed upsides at the last but she battled back to land the spoils.< De Benno made every post a winning one when scoring by a neck in an exciting finish to the Nire Valley Handicap Chase to score at odds of 7-1, while another pillar to post winner was Zipporah at 10-1 in the Kilmolash (Q.R.) Handicap Hurdle.
