Johnny Murtagh's Winiata collared front-running That's Not Me in the final 150 yards to land the opening juvenile auction maiden at Limerick.
That's Not Me, who had been runner-up in her last two races, gave it a good go from the front in this extended six furlong contest but couldn't fend off the staying-on Winiata.
The winner unleashed her challenge approaching the final furlong and went on by a length and a half at the line.
Niall McCullagh 's mount was a 5/1 chance after a third place on debut in Dundalk just over a fortnight ago.
That's Not Me was the 5/2 favourite while Nonstop Talker was a further length and three parts away in third at 6/1.
Niall McCullagh said: "She ran well first up in Dundalk and we thought she'd step forward but we were very worried about the ground. But she has big heart and galloped through it well.
"I'd say it is getting on the heavy side and it is tough going but she tried hard and coped with it and improved. She is a little filly going forward."
