Kami maximised her opportunity in the Carlsberg Handicap at Sligo with a devastating finish to this sprint.
Gavin Ryan sealed a double with this success having earlier steered Chica Linda to victory in race two.
Kami (11/1) blew the start and was forced to come around the field approaching the straight. She was widest of the 11 runners straightening for home and was ridden to make headway in the final furlong.
She was one of three horses in with a chance in the closing stages and kept on best to get there close home for local trainer Mark McNiff.
The grey daughter of Markaz beat Redshore City (15/2) and My Girl Sioux (9/2) by half a length and a neck respectively.
Ryan said: "She'd been a little bit frustrating. She had some good runs early on in maiden company and Mark always thought there was one in her. She probably likes a bit of light the whole way around and she was often drawn well which actually didn't suit her because when she's in amongst horses she just panics a little bit, she's only a small handy filly.
"She missed the break today and I've just taken her wide the whole way and it's worked out perfectly.
"It's a track that's probably not tailor-made for her as it's very hard to get racing room around here, but the owners are local and they were keen to come back here."
