Que Pasa wins on first start for Kelly

Harry Kelly recorded his fifth bumper success of the season as he took the last at Cork this afternoon, the Irish Foal Levy Mares (Pro/Am) Flat Race, with Que Pasa who was making her debut for the Co Tipperary based trainer.
Ridden by Pa King the 4yo daughter of Loup Solitaire had three runs to her name before today.
She was formerly trained in the UK by Seamus Mullins where she finished third on her debut at Newcastle last December before disappointing on her next start at Cheltenham.
She then made her Irish debut for John Halley at Fairyhouse in February where she finished a long way behind Kates Benefit.
Making her debut for Kelly this afternoon she was waited with before making progress to track the leaders three furlongs out.
She was for fourth two furlongs from home before hitting the front with over a furlong left to race.
She stayed on well from there to score by a length and three parts at the line from the John Kiley trained newcomer Joanna One in second at 7/1. Love On Top finished two and a quarter lengths back in third for John Joe Walsh and Ambrose McCurtin while the 6/4 favourite Goodoldhonkytonk could only manage eleventh for trainer Henry De Bromhead with David Roche in the saddle.
Still in the ownership of the Landenstown Estate Syndicate (have been her owners throughout) she was backed from 14/1 this morning into 11/2 at the off.
Winning trainer David Harry Kelly said afterwards: "We fancied her today and we would have been disappointed if she was beaten. I am based in Fethard in Tipperary and that is my seventh winner."
