Hand In My Pocket made it five winning favourites out of five at Listowel when landing the Charleville Cheese Maiden Hurdle in good style.

The five-year-old mare tracked Dancing Jeremy in this three miler before Simon Torrens sent her into the lead approaching the fourth last.

She travelled well and put in a good jump three out as Hill Of Truth followed her in a close second.

The 11/8 'jolly' began to increase the lead on the long run to the penultimate obstacle. Her closest rival was given the squeeze by Cathal Landers but there was no response.

The race was over once Hand In My Pocket skipped over the last and Torrens could afford to ease down on the run-in to score by five lengths.

Hill Of Truth picked up the runner-up prize at 12/1 and was a whopping 20 lengths clear of third-placed Getabay (2/1).

Hand In My Pocket had been a beaten odds on favourite in maiden hurdles at Bellewstown and Wexford but made no mistake today.
