Pascalia doubled her Dundalk total when landing the opening fillies' claimer on the Polytrack.

Johnny Murtagh 's filly made headway entering straight and grabbed the lead inside the final quarter of a mile. She kept on best to deliver by a length at 17/2. Catherine Chroi (16/1) filled the runner-up berth and was a neck in front of Tiffany Twisted (14/1).

Jockey Ben Coen said: "She's a filly with a bit of ability.

"Everything worked out today, I was able to jump from a wide draw and slot in without any pressure.

"We went a nice, even gallop and the only thing I might have said was I hit the front a little bit soon but, to be fair, she dug deep when I needed her.

"We both (Murtagh) kind of knew if she put her best foot forward she definitely has the ability.

"She was out of things a bit on ratings, but we weren't too worried about that. We thought if she showed up, she would be bang there." Galician Girl was claimed by Ergo Ventures Ltd to be trained by John McConnell.
