Moll continued her progressive profile when opening her account in the mile maiden at Dundalk this evening.
Mark Cahill 's charge had been beaten a neck here on her last visit in mid-December and went one better this time.
Conor Hoban got a good tune from his mount as she launched her challenge inside the final furlong.
The 5/1 shot got to the front inside the final 150 yards to beat China's Storm by three-parts-of-a-length. Mythologic Donnacha O'Brien's first runner as a trainer, finished a length-and-a-quarter further back in third.
“She's improved with every run,” said Cahill of the Camelot filly.
“We were going to wait for a seven-furlong race next week but we think she needs every bit of a mile and going forward we'll probably even step her up in trip.
“Conor felt that an extra two furlongs would help her.
“To get her maiden out of the way is great. I don't think there is too much here for her and we might give her a bit of a break and come back for the turf.
“We ran her first time out in Naas and she didn't appreciate the ground but it was very soft that day. I'd say she's maybe a good ground filly.”
