Today's all-Flat meeting at Wexford is the only action in Ireland this weekend as the country builds up for the seven-day Galway Festival, and punters are pinning their Ballybrit expenses on Sindarban in the Littlewoods Ireland Ladies Day Maiden.
The Aga Khan home-bred son of Teofilo showed plenty of promise on debut when staying on well into second at Navan earlier this month, and should be suited by this extra quarter-mile.
The cash has certainly come for the Michael Halford-trained runner as early offers of 7/4 were well taken, and he's now a general 4/6 chance.
The Dermot Weld-trained newcomer Renown a half-brother to former stable stalwart Famous Name, has drifted right out to 9/2 (from 7/4) as the money has arrived for Sindarban.
Elsewhere on the seven-race card, the Johnny Murtagh-trained Bwindi is a strong 9/4 favourite in the Audrey McGrath Memorial Handicap, where handicap debutante Annadiamond is also popular. Vinniespride (4/1 to 3/1) looks set to go off favourite in the 4.35, while Denis Hogan's Winter Lion (7/2 to 5/2) has attracted interest in the concluding two-mile handicap with Katy's Girl (14/1 to 8's) also nicely supported.
