After race at Tramore Thu, 9th Oct, 2014 (1st) 
it was a grand opportunity for her and she did it well. We ran her in Wexford and the ground was a bit quick and she came back a little bit sore. We were then forced to give her the summer off and this has been the first opportunity we've had to run, so it is nice to get a win. She is not a horse that'll go on real winter or heavy ground and we have a window now where she has her ground and we will try and pick up a winners' of one. We might try and get a bit of black-type for her as she's well-bred and it'd mean a lot to her owner Maurice as he breeds a lot of horses. I'd imagine she will be going to a stallion in the spring.

It's been a long time coming. She has lots of ability. She has been very unlucky and was brought down and clipped heels in the past. She is very hard on herself and she is not the easiest at the start as you can see, but she does have a big heart. We were working trying to settle her, but it wasn't making much difference so we decided to be more positive we her. I felt going out on the second circuit that she was running with the choke out a bit, but she stayed going and grind them into the ground. Her pedigree is all stayers. It is nice that she has won a maiden hurdle as Maurice (winning owner Maurice Sheehy) is into his breeding. I'm delighted for him as he has been a good patron and has supported me through the tough times.
