Leblon didn't handle the track at all but her class got her through. She'll mix it between Flat and hurdles and a step up in trip is likely.

I've not been that happy with her since she finished second in the Lartigue Hurdle at Listowel last September. She's possibly not suited by winter ground but she's back to herself now. She'll go for the Grade 3 mares hurdle at Punchestown that she was second in last year. She could go for a winners-of-two at Sligo after that.

She was entitled to win that on her running at Punchestown last time,. She may find it hard in handicaps and should be good enough to win a Flat maiden.

I took a chance running her back so quick. It's not something I'd normally do with a three-year-old but this looked a good opportunity,. I gave her a speculative entry in the big race at Leopardstown over Christmas but at this stage she is unlikely to run. But in saying that not too many three-year-olds have been that impressive so far. There is also a Grade 3 at the back of January. We'll see how she comes out of this. She had a busy enough Flat campaign and we did intend to give her a break. She'll probably strengthen up next year.
