McAuley's a dab hand in claimers as he saddles one-two

After race at Ballinrobe Mon, 19th Jul, 2021 (1st)
He is a grand horse but he had a leg problem before. It's like a game of roulette, black or red. Would you put €7,000 (claiming price in Sligo) on him? It's €12,000 today, the stakes are up. I claim regularly but I wouldn't give €12,000 for a horse that had a leg problem like him. If he is taken, he will be a grand fun horse if he is alright in the morning. If no one takes him and he comes home with us, we will look for another claimer and tip away in that. He is a grand horse for this type of grade.
James McAuley
