Nathan Crosse was another jockey to double up in Ballinrobe as he steered Willie McCreery's St Clerans home in the nightcap.
The 9/2 shot won a protracted battle with Ballinlough Gale in the final furlong of this extended mile and a half maiden.
St Clerans came home strongest in the final 50 yards to score by half a length at 9/2 from 15/2 (12/1 in the morning).
Ballinlough Gale had to settle for second at 18/5 and was a length and a quarter in front of third-placed Bridge Native 12/1.
Crosse said: "She deserved that as she has been knocking on the door for a good while. We kind of just found out the trick to her, just let her bowl along and there was a nice good gallop set today.
"She was good and game in the finish. I was the last one to pull up and I don't think she will have any problem getting a mile and six."
Jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle booted home Big Challenge and Hattie Amarin on the card.
