After race at Cheltenham Fri, 18th Mar, 2022 (1st)  You can’t do this without the horses and being attached to Henry’s yard is just absolutely phenomenal. To give me this horse is unbelievable I don’t know what to say. I’ve had so many special days. I wouldn’t swap the Grand National for anything, but this is the Gold Cup. I wish I had something better to say right now. I just can’t. You have all these plans about how things are going to work out. Racing doesn’t let that happen all the time and for some reason it’s happened to me today. I just can’t explain how lucky I feel. The class of him there — he was so impressive and Indo ran an absolute blinder as well, he really did. He was brilliant as well. It’s incredible stuff. Rachael was brilliant on him. Rachael was so brave, the way she went about it, it was brilliant. She was really brave. I’ve kind of got to that stage that if it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen. They both got a lovely passage. Robbie (Power) was brilliant on Indo and Rachael amazing on A Plus Tard. It definitely does (feel different this year), just the crowds looking here at the stand — it’s just incredible. This is what it’s all about. It was amazing to win it last year, but it’s triple amazing this year with all the people here. Henry De Bromhead

After race at Leopardstown Mon, 28th Dec, 2020 (1st)  I knew Rachael (Blackmore) said to me before hand that she was going to sit upsides in front (on Minella Indo), and she was only a couple of lengths ahead of me so I wasn't worried. I sat away and had Paul Townend in front of me (on Allaho) and he (A Plus Tard) was pinging fences. When I gave him a squeeze after jumping the second last, he picked up and he galloped right to the line. After the back of the last I did (think I was going to get there). It was brilliant and I'm absolutely over the moon. I can't thank Henry de Bromhead enough - it's my first Grade One winner and my first winner for him. This lad had a real, live chance. There were a few questions about whether he stayed or not but he definitely stayed anyway. It was some finish, he was brilliant. He stayed really well and it was a super ride from Darragh. It was unfortunate with Minella Indo but he seems okay which is the most important thing and Rachael seems okay. It's very frustrating but I'm delighted for A Plus Tard, for Darragh and for Cheveley Park. It was a brilliant ride from Darragh, he was very cool on him. I said it to Chris Richardstown about Darragh and he was very happy after Rachael decided to go with Minella Indo. He's an up-and-coming young rider and we were delighted to get him. He stayed on really well in the end. I thought he was staying on in the Ryanair last season and he definitely stayed on really well there. He won a Grade 1 here over two-one last year and now he's won over three miles. H Henry De Bromhead

After race at Cheltenham Tue, 12th Mar, 2019 (1st)  That was fantastic. I’m really thrilled. It was a super ride from Rachael and that was her first Festival winner. I’m never brimming with confidence, but I’m delighted to get it for the Thompsons and Cheveley Park. We hoped he was better than his mark suggested. He looked tapped for toe at Punchestown the last day over two and a half. He seemed to get a fair mark so we said we would give it a go. I’m delighted for Rachael and I’m lucky to be associated with her. She is just a brilliant rider. I’m always nervous, but it is great to get a winner. I feel a bit better now than I did before the race. It would look like he would get three miles and in fairness that is what I thought after Punchestown. It was a case of this race if he got in or the RSA, but he got into this so we went this way and it has worked out. Henry De Bromhead
