FormscanBy Alan Magee - A classy staying hurdle with two runners on an official mark of 150 and HOME BY THE LEE gets the vote. The lightly raced gelding has smart form both over hurdles and fences having won a Grade 3 chase and finished second to Royal Kahala in the Grade 2 Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park in January. He was far from disgraced last time in the Stayers Hurdle at Cheltenham and hopefully is straight enough for this with the Kerry National a possible target next month. Ronald Pump has won four times over hurdles and filled the runner-up spot behind Honeysuckle in the last two renewals of the Grade 1 Hatton’s Grace at Fairyhouse. However, he was unable to take advantage of a good opportunity at Cork earlier this month. Peregrine Run turned back the clock to win over fences at Worcester last time, while Salvador Ziggy is on a four-timer after touching off the odds-on Hors Piste at Galway last month.
