FormscanBy Alan Magee - RAYAPOUR gets the vote in what appears by far the stronger of the two divisions of this maiden. The selection was a useful three-year-old on the Flat in France for the Aga Khan winning a maiden at Maisons-Laffitte and also finishing second in a Listed race over a mile and a half at Vichy. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market here for his debut over hurdles. Palm Beach also won over 1m4f on the Flat at Listowel, and sets a decent standard over hurdles having filled the runner-up spot on all three outings last winter. He’s now fitted with blinkers and should appreciate this better ground, while point-to-point winner Miss Tempo shaped well on her debut under rules in a Wexford bumper. Henry Star and Craic Eile look capable of winning a more modest maiden.
