Falcon Park recorded another easy win for Paul Hennessy when taking the Lisronagh Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel.

Niall Prendergast had partnered the Arcadio gelding to a stylish success at Punchestown on New Year’s Eve and it was a similar story today.

He held the 9/1 shot up towards the rear in the early stages in the two-mile contest before cruising into the lead early in the straight.

His mount got under the last flight but the result never looked in doubt as he went on to record a cosy three-length win over long-time leader Robindevidastar

Hennessy said:- “His form is usually like a post code!

“He’s just in good humour at the moment. I’ve no idea why he’s hitting form but he’s always shown more at home than he showed at the racecourse.

“When Niall rides him like that he seems to enjoy it.”
