Mulleady and Walsh too good Mulleady and Ruby Walsh swooped at the second last and quickened away to win the Isobel Boutique Adare Hurdle at Limerick over two and a quarter miles. Musawama set out to make all as he had successfully done at Downpatrick last-time out. The distress signals went up though after three out as One Cool Shabra collared him. Burrenbridge Lodge, The Four Elms and Mulleady all moved into contention and the four principles came to the second last in a bunch. It was at this flight that Ruby Walsh got a great jump out of Mulleady who powered into the lead and quickly put the race to bed to reward punters at 3/1. One Cool Shabra was beaten nine and a half lengths into second at 7/1 under Mattie Bowes, while The Four Elms came in third in the seven-runner contest. Winning trainer Tony Martin said: “She ran a blinder in Listowel, but we met Burrenbridge Lodge on a good day. He (Burrenbridge Lodge) disappointed last Saturday and she came out of the race well. “She’s very versatile on ground and we’ve no plans at the minute.” There was an on course punt on Gordon Elliott’s Un Beau Matin from an opening show of 4/1 down to an SP of 5/2 joint favourite, but the money went astray as this one was pulled up after three out.
