Beautiful Morning (5/1) mugged Deauville on the line in the Curragh's Royal Whip Stakes.
Globetrotting Deauville set out to make all in this Group Three over a mile and a quarter. However, Success Days joined him at the halfway stage and soon led narrowly.
Deauville (11/4) came off the bridle swinging for home as Success Days travelled the better. Deauville battled away on the inner, though, and refused to give best to Success Days.
Success Days cracked with 150 yards to race and Deauville looked set for victory but Beautiful Morning really hit her straps on the outside in third to thunder home and win by a nose under Colm O'Donoghue. Broadway got up for third, a length away, at 20/1.
Trainer Jessica Harrington said: "I was very happy to see the rain this morning.
“She was very keen until the four furlong marker and he had to sit and wait on her and then go for her.
“She's getting there. It's a long time since she's run and it's been a bit of a frustrating summer with her.
“She'll probably run in the Blandford because the owner is coming that weekend. She's won a Group Three now anyway.”
Colm O'Donoghue added: "It was heads up heads down for both of us but I knew I hit the line good.
"She hasn't run for a considerable amount of time so she's still very fresh in herself.
"I had to sit for half a furlong or so just so she could get a breather and then have another go.
"She's a filly that appreciates a little cut in it (ground).
"It's very good for the breeders and I'm delighted for everyone in the yard. Adrian does a wonderful job with her to put up with her every day because she can be a bit of a handful."
