Speaking at Down Royal on Friday evening, Ben Coen reported Hanalia to be in 'great form' ahead of her tilt at the Juddmonte Irish Oaks.

Successful on her second start, the Johnny Murtagh trained bay since sprang a surprise in the Listed Oaks Trial at Naas.

As a result of that win, connections then supplemented the Sea The Stars bay for this afternoon's Classic at a cost of E50,000.

"She's an improving filly," Coen said.

"There's probably no standout in the Oaks, but it is very, very competitive.

"The step up in trip is an unknown, but she is in great form.

"She gave me a good feel the last day, so hopefully she can run well."
