Market principals Feature This (16/5) and Skontonovski (3/1 fav) fought out the finish to the first division of the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap with the former just coming out on top to complete a double for trainer Paul Flynn.
Shane Kelly 's mount raced close to the pace and led over a furlong out. Strongly pressed by the market leader throughout the final furlong, the four-year-old daughter of The Gurkha pulled out enough to prevail by a short head to register her third win over course and distance.
Flynn, successful earlier with Little Queenie trains this winner for Ian Brassil and Brian McInerney.
“She was reasonably well, we were trying to make her stay further but that's probably her trip,” said Longford-based Flynn.
“She probably needs a true run race and was back down to a winning mark, that was the key too.
“She is for sale because the owners want to buy a new one. They've had plenty of luck with her and this would be a good time to sell her on the back of a win, if someone was interested.
“She's a grand filly and I think she'd suit the likes of Wolverhampton really well because they would be turning more.
“This is a bit of a long straight for her, she probably doesn't like being in front too long. I think she could go better around a tighter track.”
