First and last races double for Willie Mullins Champion Jumps Trainer Willie Mullins had a six hours and twenty minutes wait between his two runners in Ireland today and, almost as expected, both horses duly delivered with Robinnia completing the double in the 7.20pm concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Mares) Bumper at Sligo. The daughter of Robin Des Champs was easy to back from 6/4 to 9/4 on the show but belied the drift when scoring a five and a half lengths win over Bavarian Girl. Mullins' only other runner today was Hybery, which won the opening 1.00pm race at Wexford under Paul Townend and following Robinnia's success, winning jockey Patrick Mullins reported “she's very laid-back and her pedigree is all stamina. I'd say as she goes up in trip she'll improve. "It's great for the Closutton Racing Club, they'd a winner in Galway as well. James Fenton picked this mare out and I think that's the third time one of his mares has won this bumper after Miss Me Now and Zola. "She's a fine big mare with plenty of size to jump a hurdle and even a fence "We've had a lot of luck with (stallion) Robin Des Champs." Quotes from Mark Nunan
