The Peter McCreery trained Make Clear registered her second win over course and distance when leading from pillar to post to land the opening Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap at the County Louth track.

Having made a winning Irish debut here in April, the Barry Davis owned filly added to her tally when defying a wide draw to win at Lingfield when last seen in August.

Back from a short break, the daughter of Tasleet was smartly away from stalls under Leigh Roche, taking lengths out of her rivals in the initial stages.

Coming stands side early in the straight, the four-year-old was kept up to her work by Roche to run out a neck winner over My Girl Sioux

Leigh Roche said: "She broke very smart, got there and then she travelled very easily for me.

"I rode her work last week for Peter and they weren't sure if she was flat or what, she's copping on, I think. She was just doing the bare minimum at home.

"Broke well, got easy fractions in front my own way and from two and a-half (furlongs) down, she is kind of waiting for something. She rolled over to the rail nearly to get something to aim at.

"She did it well and she is going to keep improving a little bit more still.

"If anything, you could nearly put a visor on her just to get her to carry you a bit more. I think she is just copping on a bit."
