The Clerk of the Scales reported that Sam Coltherd, the rider of Atomic Angel (GB), placed fourth, trained by Susan Corbett, had weighed in at 10st 10lbs having weighed out at 10st 8lbs.

The rider, the trainer and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed.

Having heard their evidence, Coltherd was suspended for 6 days for weighing in at 2lb overweight, this being his second offence in the past 12 months.

An enquiry was held to consider interference after the final fence, when the winner Larry Looby (IRE), ridden by Emma Smith-Chaston, interfered with Ballintogher Boy (IRE), placed second, ridden by Danny McMenamin.

Smith-Chaston was cautioned for careless riding as she had failed to take sufficient steps to correct her mount from drifting left, causing McMenamin receive a small bump and be carried marginally off his intended line.

Emma Smith-Chaston the rider of the winner Larry Looby (IRE), was suspended for 2 days for using her whip in the incorrect place on the run to the line.

Following the race, the representative of Joanne Foster reported that Chase The Wind (IRE), which was pulled up, ran flat.

The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
