In fairness to Donagh he gave him a super ride. He made a bad mistake and crept his way back into it. I was worried that we wouldn’t catch the horse in front but he’s battled on well after the last. He was in great form and had a good run in Punchestown where he ran on well from the last and we thought back in grade this evening would suit him. It’s been a great day. That’s my first double in Ireland. I had a double before in England.

We were hopeful. He jumps well and just improved for the better ground, we thought that would help him today. We've no plan for him, we will bring him home and give him a rest. We will see then if there is something similar in three or four weeks. He is a good fun horse for the summer and he'll stay over fences for the moment, but he has won two over hurdles. He was running off 115 today and will probably get a bit of a hike so it'll be harder for him the next day. He won today anyway so we can't complain.

it is great to get him back winning and he jumped and travelled great. Something was amiss with him following his last run (inJanuary) and we straightened it out. The way he jumped a hurdle there, you'd look forward to him going over a fence. I have three horses in training and some pre-trainers.

it has been a while since his last run, he has been improving all the time and it was good to get in today. He is a fabulous big horse, hopefully there will be more days with him and it is great to get this.
