That was good. We weren't sure about the ground, she didn't have much form on it. It was Mark's idea to claim her. She was in for only four grand but I was like 'God do I want her as I have enough of them in the yard'. She's solid though and has form on the Flat, chase and hurdles. She can go any route. It's great. There are a good few friends own her, it's a bit of fun really, and Mark's dad has a share in her so it was good to get Mark to ride her. I'm delighted that she's won because she's pushing on in age. She has a nice pedigree though so I'd say she'll be a broodmare down the line. She's a fun mare and is after doing her job.

She was entitled to be bang there,. She needed it the last evening and Ben knew her this evening. He gave her a peach of a ride. She was brought into the race lovely and came with one run. She won't keep coming back here and can run over hurdles and fences. We'll pick something for her in the near future. There will be plenty of opportunities for her over the summer and we'll try and win a few more.

I think personally the ride, more than the 5lbs claim, made the difference and I think he did everything right and she jumped her heart out and you couldn't fault them. Barry has been second for us in the past and that's his first win for us. He's a good jockey and timed it well today. She is owned by the West To Easy Syndicate, which are brothers Michael and Louis Conway who are Galway and Dublin based.

She'd a good run the last day and got blocked off a furlong out. She'll go back over hurdles but will not run in the depths of winter. She might have a break now, and will go over fences next season. She's a very consistent mare.

It was a good performance. It was only her second run on the Flat for me. We ran her over hurdles but she didn't seem to take to it . hopefully she'll go back to that though. We decided to go this road before giving her a break. She might run at Galway over hurdles, we'll see what the syndicate (West To East Syndicate) say. That was the proper way to ride her. Wayne held on to her as she was very keen last time. She ran around a bit in the straight but it is very windy.
