Wexford Tue, 17th Mar, 2015 (1st)
It was great. He is finding a new lease of life. Andrew won't admit it now but he told me to go for the race in the North but I wanted to come here. He came in there and said I'm not going to say you are right!,. These races are great for horses like him, they should have more of them. They should maybe do what England do and have a final at the end of the season in somewhere like Punchestown or Fairyhouse. The old boys like him are in no man lands. They are highly rated and not as good as they were. Races like this they are up against their own class and they should have more of them. Fair play to Wexford for having this race on and the prize-money was great. He is living outside now and that's made the difference with him. He is out 24 hours a day and if he wants to come in we have a bit of a canopy for him. He was bursting blood vessels last year and this year when he is out in the fresh air the whole time he is not doing that. I hope it keeps working. He is in the Grand National but I'll enter him in the Topham as well. That might suit him over 2m 5f. He is a brilliant jumper and fingers cross he will keep going now. We have him half back right but he is still not as good as he was.

I thought the trip would be too short for him, but he outstayed him. Davy said he was always very confident on him,. It's great to get him back, as he has had plenty of problems, and lives outside in a specially designed paddock. He was bursting blood vessels last year and also had a wind operation. He's in the Grand National and we'll have a look at it as there's only one Grand National and my dad (Bill Hennessy, owner) has had a winner at Cheltenham but never at Aintree!

Gowran Park Sat, 18th Feb, 2012 (1st)
He was a long-time in front and it was like a schooling session for him,. He just popped around and was very good - he'll be even better with a bit of company. Andrew was very impressed with him. He made the rest look very ordinary. When Andrew got off him after Cheltenham last year he said he wouldn't want the ground any faster. By the Friday the ground would have been too fast for him. If we get soft ground in the Ryanair we'll be laughing and we'll be praying for a bit of rain.

Rubi Light is probably one of the best jumpers in Ireland. He always was a great jumper but it is a pity he won over fences in France last season because that ruled him out of novice status here. we had a few quid on him at 200/1 for the Ryanair Chase yesterday and that race is now a big possibility! He'll also be entered in a few handicaps but may now be too highly rated. The deeper the ground is, the better it is for him.

After race at
Punchestown Sat, 13th Nov, 2010 (1st)
he was only half fit when winning at Sligo on his latest run and still wasn't fully wound up today. Davy (Russell) said he was only getting going when he was pulling him up. He may be better over further but he can't go down the novice route as he won over fences in France before we bought him. He'll probably run next at Leopardstown over Christmas in either a handicap or Listed chase.

After race at
Sligo Thu, 30th Sep, 2010 (1st)
Barry said the mistake woke him up and that he'll come on a tonne for it. Bar the mistake he jumped brilliant. We are a bit restricted where we go because he won over fences in France . so a novice is out.
