There aren't too many opportunities out there for a horse like him. He seemed fit and well this morning, so we took our chance. Davy (Russell) said he ran too fresh yesterday and he had nothing left at the finish. He will go to the sales now in Doncaster on May 24th.

The two fallers (Majestic Concorde and Cuan Na Grai) took away from the race but at the time I wasn't complaining. He was a little bit sluggish although he did jump very well. If he comes out of this well he'll go for the Arkle but I'd like to see a little bit of cut in the ground. At least that puts him back in the picture.

That was another great display, that's two good rounds of jumping. I think the second is a good horse. My fellow will probably go for the Durkan New Homes Novice Chase (Leopardstown on St Stephens Day). (EM)

We didn't get much schooling into him and we decided to come here for his first chase because it's left-handed. He is an exciting prospect and he jumped magnificently. He is entered at Cheltenham next weekend but it is doubtful whether he'll go there, but we'll go there some day.
