Yesterday was very disappointing but you have days like that. As least Yorkhill and Djakadam came back. Nichols Canyon was very hard to take. It's hard to replace a horse like him but we'll move on,,. It's very hard to find horses like him. He was so tough, always gave his all and was so exciting to watch. He wasn't the biggest horse in the world but had a huge heart. He'll be missed in Closutton. We're well used to disappointment as well. It happened the first two days in Cheltenham but as long as the horses come back there will always be another day. We'll sit down and make new plans for the horses that got beaten. After yesterday confidence wasn't quite as high as it could be. She was top rated, she won it last year and she was working well at home. She fell on his seasonal debut and we didn't learn much there but we were hoping if she could do what she does at home she'd win and thank God she has. It lifts everyone a bit and gets the confidence up. This is the first day that Rich has been here so it's great to get a winner for him. It's important for Paul. Obviously he had great wins on Total Recall and Faugheen. The last few days haven't been as good but he won the Grade One on Footpad.

Let's Dance has the edge in experience as she's a second-season novice, which is a huge advantage. She has a lot of ability, she's looked very impressive this season and beat the boys on her last run at Leopardstown. She goes there in super form. However, Airlie Beach already has Grade One-winning form and I think her run in the Royal Bond is probably the best two-mile form in Ireland this year, with Saturnas, Forge Meadow and Penhill all behind her. On a line through Shattered Love, who they've both beaten, I don't think there's much between them and they must both go there with big chances.

Let's Dance is probably best in at the weights and won very well in Leopardstown at Christmas. She's a second-season novice, which is big help and she could be hard to beat. Montalbano was good in his maiden hurdle at Christmas and looks a stayer. He needs the experience and this race will tell us a lot about him. Kemboy is probably the quickest of the three. He showed a lot of gears to win on his first run for us in Limerick. I think the ground will suit him, but on the bare form he probably needs to improve. We'll learn plenty about him as well.

She did that well. Jumped and galloped like we thought she would do. We’re pleased with her and she’s improving all the time,. I didn’t really get a chance to talk to Ruby but from what I can gather it was pretty straight-forward. The mares novice (at Cheltenham) is only two miles and she might go out further in trip. She may go for the mares hurdle even though she’s only a novice. She’s entered in both. Looking at that performance she could get three miles.

Hopefully she'll make a nice novice hurdler for the season ahead and all I had to do today was stay on her back and she did the job well for me,. Willie will decide where she goes next. She has had plenty racing and will be well able to compete in the good novice races again next season.
