Review leopardstown 29th Dec Faugheen was pulled up in the Ryanair Hurdle as Mick Jazz completed a Grade One double for Gordon Elliott at Leopardstown.All went to plan in the early stages until Faugheen was joined at the head of affairs by stablemate Cilaos Emery, and he raced in second until passed by the other three contenders nearing the end of the back where he was eased out of contention by Paul Townend.Cilaos Emery made a bold fist of things but had no answer when Mick Jazz loomed up, and Elliott's 14-1 chance quickened a length and three-quarters clear.Shattered Love reversed the Florida Pearl form with Jury Duty to lead home a one-two for Elliott in the Grade One Neville Hotels Novice Chase.The 10-1 shot was always prominent and took it up shortly after six out, where hot favourite Monalee crashed out, bringing down Rathvinden.Shattered Love was there to be shot at but stuck to her task well to see off Jury Duty by a length and three-quarters.Mullins has had a festive period to forget, but Let's Dance did repeat her victory of 12 months ago in the Grade Three Willis Towers Watson Irish EBF Mares Hurdle.The even-money favourite cruised up to head long-time leader Forge Meadow early in the straight, but Townend had to keep her up to her work to score by eight lengths.Mullins also took the Guinness Flat Race with the Patrick Mullins-ridden Minella Encore.Monalee's fall aside, Henry de Bromhead has enjoyed an otherwise excellent Christmas Festival and his Dicey O'Reilly sprung a bit of a surprise in the Pigsback.com Maiden Hurdle.The 18-1 chance took the lead off Massey's Wood after jumping the final flight and saw off Mortal by three and a half lengths.De Bromhead doubled up with 4-1 favourite Mind's Eye in the Top Oil Irish EBF Novice Handicap Hurdle, ridden by Mick Jazz's jockey Davy Russell.Shane Crimin took the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase on the Tom Mullins-trained 13-2 joint-favourite Spider Web.
