Jamie Spencer would obviously normally ride him, but I believe he's suspended on Sunday, so it's nice I've been able to come in for the ride,. He's a good horse and he seems in good form at home, but he in particular is a horse who improves a lot for his first run of the year. He's quite laid-back at home and he's a year older and a year wiser, but it's a good place to start him off and I'm looking forward to it.

He had to fight for it. They went a solid gallop and he is a courageous horse. The plan was if everything went well here, the Ascot Gold Cup would be next. He has a good chance of getting the two and a half miles, he didn't look like he was stopping at the line here, he looked like he still had more left. That was the longest trip he ever went today.

I'm happy with that and he'll come on plenty from it,. There are three races we're looking at for him. The Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh over 1m2f, the Coronation Cup (at Epsom) over 1m4f and the Saval Beg (at Leopardstown) over 1m 6f. Depending on which one he goes for it will dictate what his plans are for the year.

It's good to get him started back again, we gave him a mid-season break. His next run could be in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown or the Arc Trial at Longchamp. After that we'll have a look at the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe. He has progressed well all season and his performance here in the Tattersalls Stakes was very good.

Fame And Glory has been coming forward very well and is very uncomplicated over that mile and a quarter. He'll run in the Coronation Cup next at Royal Ascot, and while it is a quick bounce back for him, he is really 'there' now and everything has come alight for him.

I'm delighted with that, they went a good even gallop. He's come on well from his first run back. He'll probably go for the Tattersalls Gold Cup now.

He has been a great horse all along and he got a great ride. He's a typical Classic horse, he has natural tactical pace and he very quickly got into his stride and he travelled great. The sky is the limit for him now.
