Fame leads home 1-2 for Ballydoyle Aidan O'Brien trained the first two home in the mile juvenile maide but the result was not as most punters would have predicted, with newcomer Fame And Glory (6/1) staying on best to deny the well-backed Sirgarfieldsobers. Stephen Hunter partnered his fourth winner of the campaign as the Montjeu colt found plenty when asked for his effort in the final furlong to beat the 2/1 favourite (from 3's) by a length and three quarters. The pair pulled five and a half lengths clear of third placed Fergus McIver. Cashmans give the winner a 33/1 quote for the 2009 Epsom Derby.
