Market Movers at the Curragh Plenty of horses have come in for support at the Curragh this afternoon with the first of seven races due off at 2:10. In the opener newcomer Miracle Cure for Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning has been backed from his opening price of 9/2 this morning into 3/1 second favourite, while the favourite Catamount has drifted from 2/1 out to 5/2. In the second race at 2.40 the Listed www.tote.ie Curragh Stakes over five furlongs for 2yo's only, Lady Rochford for Ger Lyons has been the only one coming in for support going from 10/1 into 15/2. Experience remains the favourite for the contest at 15/8 having drifted slightly from his opening show of 7/4. Fame And Glory has gone even shorter in the market for the Irish Field St Ledger Trial Stakes, moving from his opening show of 1/3 into 3/10. In the 3:50 Ger Lyons newcomer Oh So Lucy has seen her price slashed this morning from an opening show of 10/1 into 15/2. Soon still remains the strong 13/8 favourite for the seven furlong contest. In the feature race on the card at 4:25, the Group 2 Futurity Stakes, David Livingston for Aidan O’Brien has opened the 2/1 favourite. However its another Ballydoyle runner that has come in for support, with the David McCabe ridden Astrology going from his opening show of 9/1 into 11/2. Pencil Hill has been the subject of an early morning gamble for the inform Tracey Collins yard with the 6yo gelding's price halved from his opening price of 20/1 into 10/1. Daring Man for Denis Cullen has also found support going from 33/1 into 20/1. In what is a very competitive contest Noble Four for the Willie McCreery stable is the 8/1 favourite, with Good To Follow next best at 9/1 for Eddie Lynam. In the last race on the card at 5:30, a Fillies Maiden over a mile and one, the Dermot Weld trained Solar Verde had been backed from 11/4 into 2/1 favouritism but now her price has gone back out to 9/4.
