He's a nice horse and he's going the right way. With Noel's horse (Beacon Edge) out of it, he was probably the best of the horses that had won their maidens. I'd say something must have happened to Henry's horse (Fusain), he dropped out of it completely. Not to take away from Curlew Hill but you'd expect him to do that if he was going to go to the next step. Mark was delighted with the manner he did it in. There will be plenty more questions to be answered from here on in. I think he's capable of winning a nice Flat race. We could go to Thurles next week for a maiden but I'd doubt it now after that as it's a bit quick. I'd like to get another run into him on the Flat. He ran into a good mare in Bellewstown but she's a 105-rated mare. He's a grand sound, honest, horse and a good fella owns him so there is no great pressure. He's after winning four and will win plenty more races. What height he''ll reach only God knows. They are about 126 horses and the next step is a 140 horse. Noel's horse was 142 if you had been taking him on. He's a good ground horse and we could maybe look at Leopardstown Christmas or Fairyhouse if it was good ground.

He couldn't do much more. I was worried about him in front as he's a bit cold jumping. He's a good leaper but you need someone like Mark on him to make up his mind and he jumped well. He won well. The next step now is a winners of one and all those horses that are after winning will be together, and then you'll know because if one horse kicks them out of the way he's going to beat all of them. If he's good enough to win a winners of one he'll go to the next step. We'll know the next day if he's a handicapper or up to a better grade. He's big enough to go and jump a fence and he's bred to get a trip as the dam was second in the Ascot Stakes for John Queally. Stamina shouldn't be a problem. He'll win plenty of races. He'll more than likely go to Listowel for something.

I always thought he was a smart horse, . He won at Thurles and then ran well in Liverpool but probably shouldn’t have gone there as it was less than two weeks after.

Her owner Michael Ryan had the mother, father, brother, sister - the lot, and this horse's mother Elyaadi was placed twice at Royal Ascot. It is a lovey family,. He is a fine big horse, I was disappointed with him at Leopardstown when he probably needed the run and I didn't mind him getting beat, I didn't think he'd be beaten 20 lengths. I said we'd have another try here today and Michael gave him a lovely ride, he loved the ground and quickened up well. He might go to Liverpool (Aintree) to run in the bumper next as Michael is a great Liverpool man.
